Yeah, people decorating their yards with tombstones bearing their kids’ names and ghouls hanging from trees—I don’t get into it. But costumes? Oh, baby.
I wish my dh would dress up with me. It’s kinda lame to dress up by yourself (not that I haven’t done it, mind you). When my brother and I were little we always dressed up as couples. One of my faves was a King and Queen when we were in High School. My mom made the costumes and mine had a huge cape with fur on it. Oh, I’d still wear it now. *sigh* My least fave? Aladdin and Jasmine. I didn’t feel weird about being so scantily clad until I got into public. (I was actually at church!) Then I realized I was basically wearing a teal bra in front of everyone. YIKES.
Anyway, I cannot cannot wait until Friday because Lydia and Asa are dressing up as a couple! Should I tell you? Or do you want to wait for the picture?! Hmmm….I think I’ll wait. You’re going to love it!
So, are you dressing up?

I’ve been meaning to tell you about this for days…
Remember when I met the President of UNICEF USA? (feel free to be impressed now.) Well, she sent an email about Trick or Treat for UNICEF. I thought you might want to check out their website.
It’s got tons of cool stuff including a Halloween Party Kit and even a facebook group! And you can donate $5 via your cell phone by texting the word “TOT” to 864233 (“UNICEF”). Isn’t that cool? Please go check UNICEF’s Trick or Treat site out!
