Are you a brand snob? Shannon is having a brand loyal edition of her works-for-me-wednesday. I haven’t done this in awhile, but I love me some brands, so I thought I’d participate!
Let’s see…on the complete boring side: Brawny Pick-a-size Paper Towels. (makes me feel like I’m saving a few trees!) Kashi Golden Brown Maple Oatmeal with Silk Soymilk. (my effort to be natural) Fruitabu. (so much better than fruit roll ups) Stride Rite. (expensive but worth every penny…and how cute?!)
On the entertainment side: Disney (as opposed to Universal or Nick). Mac. (seriously.) Tivo. (I would marry my tivo if I wasn’t already married.)
Baby Side: Burt’s Bees Diaper Ointment. (perfect in every way) California Baby Diaper Area Wash. (the only thing that keeps Lydia’s sensitive skin clear) Lasinoh Lanolin (for nursing mamas).
And on the I-will-never-ever-ever-in-a-million-years-buy-something-else side (these need their own paragraph):
Cosmedix Skin Care & Make up. These products are to whole foods as McDonald’s is to junk food. This is make up and skin care the way God intended: chirally corrected, mineral and beautiful! I don’t even think you can order it online. You need to find someone who can “prescribe” what you need. I get mine here.
Rusk Wired. I’ve told you how much I love this before. It’s heavenly.
Blink Trash Tossers. My car is finally clean. This is my favorite thing ever! It’s a pack of plastic trash bags with a hook to fit on the pocket of your passenger seat! L-O-V-E it!
First Years Insulated Sippy Cups. Those playtex sipsters with the valve inside are what cavemen use! I just threw all mine away and bought more of these insulated ones.
That’s all I can think of right now! More than you wanted to know, right? Well, I might add some more later on today, so check back!
(my favorite wfmw here!)

I agree with mac (hehe), Kashi, Silk (chocolate is my fave) and Lasinoh 110%. I have yet to try the others . . . you’ve made me really really curious about Cosmedix! I use bare esscentuals now. Love it.
Peanut Butter and jelly boats says
I agree with you on so many of those!

Oh my goodness, I so know how you feel about the TiVo! I almost put that on my list as well, LOL!

I love kashi. I buy the granola bars too. My favorite is pumpkin & flax seed…
I just told you on igoogle how much I love tivo!
I bought one of those trash collectors that hangs on the back of the passenger seat when I bought this Suburban, my car has remained clean since. If anyone even unwraps a piece of gum they immediately throw the wrapper away. It’s great.

Aw man, I just put back those playtex cups at ToysRUs today and opted for some cheaper ones. Dang. I knew that was a mistake.
Beth @ The Natural Mommy says
I clicked on just about every link there! I’m really interested in that natural makeup…
But I might have to differ on the sippy cup preference! 😛 I haven’t tied playtex, so I can’t be sure, but right now my absolute favorite sippy is from Nalgene! It refuses to leak unless the valve falls out! However the valve does fall out if your toddler throws the sippy with all her might. Then it does leak. But I think we have successfully taught her not to do that anymore…

I never knew you were such a snob:) I was excited to look at the sippy cups & then realized I use the same ones … I just didn’t know them by name!! Thanks for the linky love to SS:)

Handy suggestions. Thanks. The sippy cups intrigue me. What’s makes them so great? You probably shouldn’t tell me. The last thing I need to do right now is chunk all of my cups and buy new ones. 🙂 Especially since Shannon has me wantin’ to go to the 24 hour Market and buy some Tide!
My Quotidian Mysteries (Laura) says
I’m a Nalgene convert on he sippy cup front too (like Beth) – and I love that I can practically run over it before I break it.
Alicia says
We have those sippy cups too, but for some reason Madi has a hard time sucking out of those?
Love Kashi, and now I want to try the Burts Bees diaper rash cream. I am addicted to their chap stick already!

Isn’t it the truth?! If it wsn’t for TiVo, I’d never see anything on tv. And I do love tv.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
