When Lydia was one, I bought The Very First Noel movie for her. We had just set up our Christmas tree, our stockings were hung by the chimney with care and I popped the Very First Noel DVD into the player while she ate breakfast. She turned around to me with bright eyes and said excitedly, “Is it Christmas today?!”
*sniff* I wish I could bottle that innocence.
Since then, it has been our favorite Christmas movie by far. I love it so much, I suggest buying and watching the Very First Noel on day 22 of Truth in the Tinsel because it fits perfectly. I even wrote myself a sticky last December that has been on my computer all year that says EMAIL EXCLAIM ABOUT TRUTH IN THE TINSEL!
Finally, I did (hoping they’d do a giveaway or a coupon code or something) and lo and behold, one of the executives from Exclaim Entertainment CALLED ME BACK! I talked to him for more than thirty minutes about The Very First Noel, children’s ministry, blogging and more. I was so inspired by how passionate he was about getting quality God-centered entertainment into the hands of parents and kids. He wants to do exactly what I want to do–equip parents to raise kids to love Jesus!
The only place you can get The Very First Noel now is on their website.
Another of my favorite Exclaim resources is from Boz the Bear.Β It’s called WowieBOZowee Christmas!
Have you heard of Boz? We kind of love him around here. The Boz videos focus on simple concepts like colors, shapes, imagination and family with an obvious Biblical worldview. They are the perfect example of impressing your kids in your everyday life like Deuteronomy 6 commands.
Wowie-Boz-owie is a fun Christmas video with songs about snow, lessons about giving, family traditions and of course, the greatest story, Jesus’ birth. We have already watched this movie twice this year (it was our first Christmas movie of the season) and I love it more each time we watch it.
Grab your kids and watch this little video clip…
Fun, right? Not to mention all the extras Exclaim have on their website with coloring sheets, lesson ideas and more. They truly want to empower parents!
You’ll wanna add WowieBozowee to your Christmas movie collection!
I’ve heard of Boz and we’re always looking for other good, family-friendly Christmas movies! π
Jessica
I’m not familiar with Boz.. I have found memories of watching Rudolf with my family every year.
Yes, I have heard of Boz! My kids love Christian videos and I am very happy to provide them with them! My favorite Christmas movie was The Grinch Stole Christmas. He always scared me. lol
We have a Wowie Bozowee Christmas. My sons favorite night time friend is a Boz plush. It would be nice to win to share it with a friend.
Kids love Boz! Didn’t know about this Christmas DVD — thanks for sharing!
We LOVE Boz! This is the only DVD we don’t own, both of my girls would love it. I’m so sad to hear they are distributing The Very First Noel anymore. That one is great too.
Yay! Excited for the giveaway!
Would love to win one of these!
I’ve heard of Boz. We got a preview dvd that was just an excerpt of it one time from somewhere (maybe Chick-Fil-A??)

We’ve heard of Boz but we don’t have any DVDs.
Fun!
We LOVE Boz in our house! My favorite is the one that talks about eating healthy…we sing the song about eating the colors of the rainbow all the time! π
We love Boz!
I have not heard of Boz before. Would love to win this video to introduce him to my daughter.
Our favorite Christmas movie is Charlie Brown’s Christmas.
I would love this! Always looking for fun Christ centered stuff for my kiddo π
I’m not familiar with Boz but I’m always looking for videos portraying what Christmas is truly about.
I’ve never heard of Boz. I’ll have to check him out! Thanks!
My son LOvES Boz! He is about the only tv/movie character my son knows, but he loves to watch the few Boz DVDs we have. We would love to have a copy of this DVD!
I heard of Boz when they first introduced him, but didn’t have kids at the time. I kind of forgot about it since then, so thanks for the reminder!
Thank you for sharing BOZ with me. I am excited to introduce the series to my daughter. Right now her favorite Christmas DVD is “The Crippled Lamb.”
We don’t have any children’s Christmas movies yet. Thanks for the great recommendation.
our family LOVES Boz! Thanks for the chance to win this. My two four-year-old twin boys would FREAK out if they won!
I have never heard of BOZ before–but can’t wait to win! π
I hadn’t heard of Boz! So cute! Thanks for introducing me and for the opportunity to win this Christmas DVD!
We like Boz the bear, but my oldest loves all the Veggie Tales Christmas movies…we just watched “It’s A Meaningful Life” yesterday!
I am unfamiliar about Boz but will definitely be checking out these Jesus-lovin’ learning resources!! I think that my son would love watching the dvds. His current favorite Christmas movie is Veggie Tales “Little Drummer Boy”.
We haven’t ever watched a Boz movie – would love to see it!
I am a preschoool teacher and love showing BOZ to my class. They love it because it’s age-appropriate plus has great Biblical application – actually I guess that’s why I love it lol. They love it because it’s engaging and the songs and lessons are catching and they remember them.
Yea! I was gonna order this DVD anyway. So great to get two! I just ordered! π
We would love to see some Boz. We don’t own any of them but we do have The Very First Noel. My friend gave it to us this year and it is a favorite already! It is so cute! We love the music on it.
I’ve heard of Boz, but I haven’t seen it yet. I’m sure my kids would enjoy it.
Awesome! I love christmas movies that remind of the real reason for the season!
We were introduced to Boz by my sister-in-law. My 4 yr-old daughter watched the Friends and Helpers one and she LOVED it! Catchy songs too!
My favorite Christmas movie iis Little Women
My favorite Christmas movie is probably While You Were Sleeping (it’s not exactly a Chritsmas movie, but it takes place during the holidays and that’s when I like to watch it).
We haven’t watched a lot of Boz, but everytime I see one, I think of the day my son was born. When I knew I was going into labor with my son, I laid down on the couch w/ my daughter (who was 1) and we watched our first Boz movie together.
My kids really enjoy the one Boz Show we have around here, love the song and the child friendly entertainment with a good lesson.
We haven’t heard much about Boz yet but I love any company that sells family friendly Christ centered videos and products. Thanks for the giveaway.
Hi Amanda,
I am entry 76. I just received you email about winning. I accidently pressed delete on my phone instead of reply for my snail mail address. Can you send me another email? Thank you so much and we are excited to meet Boz!
