Happy Saturday! I haven’t done a good linky-love post in a month of Sundays. I thought it would be fun to share some of the stuff I’ve been reading this week. Oh, and show you a cute picture of Asa pretending to wave his dog’s paw at us. He thinks this is absolutely hilarious and makes sure to tell us, “It’s not him! It’s me! I’m doing it!” He so thinks he tricks us!
Now, a few good posts and links for you…
Facebook Changes and a Request from I Can Teach My Child: have you noticed your news feed on Facebook feels different? Well, it’s because they are trying to make money off of people like me who have a “business” page. Read this post and please follow the steps for our Facebook page, too. I don’t want you to miss any of the fun stuff we do on Facebook—I’ve been updating prayers every morning and fun links and conversation throughout the day. I’d love to connect with you!
Teaching God’s Word from Homeschool Creations: This is 10-part homeschooling series from April (*gulp* I’m a little behind in my reading!) and you will love all the great ideas that can be adapted for any time with any kids!
When You Feel Like This Is Your Last Chance by Mary Carver at Giving Up on Perfect: This post is a perfect example of why I love Mary. She can take something like (my favorite show) So You Think You Can Dance and turn it into a God moment!
Bring on the Summer of Clean! from A Slob Comes Clean: A free ebook with “lesson plans”, lists, etc. to help you teach your kids how to clean the house. I am SO doing this!
The Hello Mornings Challenge and She Reads Truth: Getting up before my kids is probably the main thing that helps me have a good (more patient, less heavy-sighing and blood boiling) day. Spending time with God and being alone, even for a few mintues is a gift to me, my kids and my Heavenly Father. Join me on Twitter and Instagram (@oohamanda) with the hashtags #hellomornings and #shereadstruth!
OK. That’s all I got. We’re off to clean the house today. What are you doing this weekend?
Linked to Saturday Linky Love at Vanderbilt Wife
Such cuties! I loved that series in April from Homeschool Creations! Have a fab weekend! Give those littles a hug!
Your links aren’t working! 🙁 I must read some of these! Help!
Hmm. Weird. I just fixed them all! Come back and read ’em. They ARE good! 🙂
Thank you for the link and the love, my friend! 🙂
Great list. I am determined to start waking up EARLIER and summer seems like the perfect time to do it since the sun also gets up earlier.
You always have the BEST stuff to share! I am beyond giddy about reading the cleaning e-book! Thank you for sharing. Please say a prayer for me. Praying about taking the plunge and homeschooling my two big kids (10 and 8) next year. Lots to do to make that happen. Blessings,
Christy
