Remember my new iPhone? Well, I love it. Yes, I can talk to Siri (which my or may not be the subject of a Top Ten post soon. She is quite entertaining.) and I can actually get online and answer email while sitting somewhere boring. I’m kinda in love with it.
But the main thing that has changed since my iPhone is that it has given me a new Mommy Blog. What?! A new blog? Well, kinda. I have fallen in love with Instagram. I know you’ve seen it before. It’s the photo sharing site where you can kinda retro-fy your photos. And I have taken to uploading pics of my adorable kids for the world to see.
And by world I mean, the 179 people that follow me. Instagram is quiet, pretty and simple. It’s like a little secret place on my phone. It’s my new crush. (It’s actually not that quiet–they’ve grown from 1 million to 15 million users in one year! Isn’t that amazing?!)
So, in case you’re not on Instagram, here’s a few of my faves from the last, oh, 7 days…
1. Asa playing with a belt. On Christmas. Yes, it’s around his neck.
2. Asa playing with is favorite Christmas present: a viking costume. (Which also may be the subject of a Top Ten list!)
3. Day after Christmas (aka All Day Pajama Day)
4. Cute Lalaloopsy dolls. Another Christmas present.
5. Asa playing at Juliet’s Doctor birthday party.
6. Sleeping in the carseat. After the Doctor birthday party.
7. Alabama playpen. (Please laugh at that. I love it.)
8. My pretty Lyddie.
9. Papa teaching Lydia to play solitaire. On the iPad.
10. Lydia’s final fitting for her Laura Ingalls dress. Which is for her Little House on the Prairie Party. Which is on Saturday! (Aaaaaack! I have so much to do!!)
So. Do you instagram? If you don’t, don’t you want to now? And if you’re wondering, my favorite filter is Earlybird. I’m a sucker for rounded corners.

LOVE the “Alabama” Playpen. I had a great 10′x10′ playpen for my kids for 4 years. Until we put stairs off the deck
I just downloaded Instagram in the last couple of weeks, and I’m totally in love with it, too.
I wish they had Instagram for androids. They have similar apps, but not as great as Instagram.
I {heart} Instagram! It’s challenging to find new things to take pictures of when I don’t publish pictures of me or my daughter but I love taking photos of scenery and just about anything looks cool with a fun filter! Great pictures

I love Instagram! I’m pretty awful at capturing pictures, BUT, with Instagram I’m actually more likely to take a picture since I already have my camera/phone on me.
And totally laughed at the “Alabama playpen”!
