Things I’m Thankful For: Top Ten {Tuesday}

top ten list

Last week Lydia was off of school for Thanksgiving. And it was so fun to just ramble around the house and run errands and just be together. I downloaded the new #1000gifts app and it’s got me taking more pictures (altho’ sometimes I can’t actually get it up on the app!) and more aware of things (people) I’m thankful for. So, here are a few pictures from the last few days–pictures that show why my heart is so full of joy and thanksgiving!

    I am thankful for God’s provision, even when our situation and our goals have seemed impossible. Over and over I have been reminded of the truth of Philippians 4:19.

    I noted the same thing about Nordstrom. I was in there a few days before Thanksgiving….not one decoration. I came back on Black Friday and it was all decorated–I really loved that!

    The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

    Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

    An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

      I have a mentally caenlelghd grandson, now 12 years old. He looks like any other 12 year old, but he acts about 6 or 7 years old. Sweet still and people accept him (especially once they get to know him). My worry is when he’s 20 or 30, how are people going to react to him then. So far I don’t think he realizes that he is different .so I feel your pain and your fears. We just have to pray that these special children will be strong and know that God will bless them in special ways.

    I think everything said made a bunch of sense. However, consider this, what if you added a little information? I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website, however suppose you added a headline to possibly grab people’s attention? I mean Things I’m Thankful For: Top Ten {Tuesday} | ohamanda.com is a little boring. You could glance at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create article headlines to get people interested. You might try adding a video or a picture or two to get people interested about what you’ve written. In my opinion, it would bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
