Veggie Tales & World Vision TWITTER PARTY

DSC_0024

We’re kind of in Veggie Tales land lately.

Have I ever told you about our TV craziness? Well, I won’t go into it. But let’s just say we watch two TVs: our super cool flat screen that isn’t connected to anything but a DVD player. And our 12 year old monstrosity that is connected to our magical TIVO. Do not get me started on this insanity. The point is we have been watching DVDs almost every single morning and 9 times out of 10 the kids pick Veggie Tales! For them it’s a toss up between Josh and the Big Wall {it’s plain to see your brains are very small!} and Rack, Shack and Benny {the Bunny! the Bunny! Oh, I love the Bunny!}. I prefer Little Joe {Little Joooooe! Little Jooooe!}

Then we discovered the new VeggieTales.com with games and videos and oh-my-goodness-you-can-click-on-petunia! The kids loved playing on the site so much they got sent to their rooms for fighting over it. (I’m sure that’s what Veggie Tales was aiming for!)

And then we got a preview copy of the new DVD, ‘Twas the Night Before Easter and I laughed like a hyena because it’s a big American Idol spoof! SO. FUNNY.

I say allll that to say: I’m co-hosting a Veggie Tales TWITTER PARTY next Monday (3/14)! We’re going to be talking about Veggie Tales partnership with World Vision! We’ll also discuss some very veggie Easter stuff and give away LOTS of great prizes!

    Libbie is obsessed, too. She’s worn out Sumo of the Opera. We are going to my parents’ tomorrow and she asked Nana about ten times on Skype, “You have VeggieTales?”

    I will have to check out the online stuff!

    I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
