We just had a pirate party last weekend and I got fake plastic swords and eye patches for the kids and made treasure maps on the computer and we went on a treasure hunt. I filled a plastic container with candy, pirate coins, and some stickers and tattoos and burried it in one of those large plastic tubs. The kids loved finding the treasure and it wad and easy, cheap gift for them to take home.
Hi! I was totally thinking of you and your blog today when I was talking to my husband about Disney. We leave in 13 days and I can’t wait! And we will probably be there at the same time! crazy! It is our 1st time to take the kids and I was just wondering if you had any suggestions for us. I know you are totally crazy getting stuff ready right now, but I knew you would know. We are going on the free meal plan, already scheduled our character meals and are only spending a couple of days in the parks. (Are kids are only 3 and 1). I have heard great things about going at this time of the year, so I hope it is as good as everyone says. I can’t wait to hear about your trip too! -Shelley
