Our church has used CareCalendar.org for scheduling meals and child care in a couple of cases (not sure if TakeThemAMeal allows for other needs). We have some former church members who returned to AR so their newborn son (now 6 months old) could have a heart transplant – we scheduled meals and childcare on the calendar. We have another that we use for scheduling childcare for a friend whose husband recently deployed to Afghanistan and we want to give her a night out. It’s so nice to have calendars like this to coordinate this stuff, isn’t it?!
These are ALL excellent – I just spent the time I should have been washing the dishes reading all of these posts. Oh well – better spent on this – good stuff! 🙂
