I think I might be in the Christmas Spirit. I know. It’s only November 6th but wowza—we went to Target today and it was SO Christmasy! Lydia was getting so excited about the snowflakes hanging from the ceiling she said, “I love Target now! I never want to leave here!”

I think I might feel the same way. Have you started thinking about Christmas yet?

I have been in retail my entire life – chain retail since 1993. I have seen the retail Christmas season start earlier and earlier every year. It used to bother me. No more, baby! We walked into Target on Sunday morning (magically transformed overnight) and we loved the Christmas decorations!!

The boys and I were in Target today, and Elias said almost the same thing! I am so in the holiday spirit right now… I’m considering breaking out some decorations (which is a little bit horrifying…).

Yes, girl–I was in the Cumming store yesterday and today, and I thought the exact same thing.

When did those decorations go up? I was in there last week, and they weren’t up then.

But, I thought the same thing. They are really pretty this year–BIG RED, shing ornaments. I loved it personally…..

We’re already listening to Christmas music in the car. The kids LOVE the hippopotamus song and Jiggle Bell Rock. I used to be annoyed that it started in the stores this early, but having little kids makes it magical.

I went to Target and just roamed the aisles in awe! It’s SO festive, I LOVE it! I’m so glad I did it because I needed a little boost to get me going. In fact, right now, I’m downloading Christmas music on my Ipod!

Yep! We’ve officially put our WOW Christmas CD in the car CD player for the season. I waited till Decmber last year and felt ripped off when Christmas was over :)

    Yay! I can comment today!

I have started thinking about Christmas because someone asked if Ladybug was getting ready for Santa Claus. Since we don’t “do” Santa Claus, I started doing some research so that I can write a few posts (or maybe only one!) regarding Saint Nicholas, who was the real live inspiration behind the make-believe Santa. I’m on the hunt for a good children’s book on Saint Nicholas to share with LB (and with y’all too!).
