Beverly. Spectacle Lake. 15 years old.
I know this isn’t a very autumn-y picture, but I love it! Beverly is my grandmother’s sister. I am just imagining she is donning her bathing suit (which is adorable, by the way), tying on a scarf and then hopping out into a boat to row across a lake. She seems like a romantic character in a book!

I love the scarf! My grandmother died in 1990 but I remember her even then occasionally tying a scarf on her head to go out. I kind of wish it was still in fashion!

It does make a romantic photo! Actually, in that suit she kind of reminds me of those pinup girls.
