1. We are still on California time.
2. Traveling four time zones with two kids is torture.
3. Eastern time is no fun.
4. Especially after you’ve been on Pacific time.
5. Lydia and Asa are on different time zones.
6. Neither of which I am on.
7. It takes one day per time zone to get your body back on it’s internal clock.
8. We have been home for uhm…1 1/2 days.
9. So, our internal clocks must be somewhere over Kansas by now.
10. Did I mention we’re still on California time?

Poor thing! Hope you adjust soon. I know how hard it is to continue life while your body figures out what time zone it is. (Got home from Thailand and had to go to work the next day!)

Whoosh! I hate traveling with kids through that many time zones. I’ve actually only done it with one kid, Andrew, when he was four. He was a great travel companion then! As for re-setting our clocks, I learned this trick a long time ago – when you get to a new time zone (going or coming), stay up until midnight in that time zone. For whatever reason, it has worked for me.
I hope the trip was fun after all (and worth the various familial time zones)!!

Oh, the joys of jet lag. Here’s hoping you have lots of naps in your future… or are you not supposed to nap so you can go to bed earlier? Either way, welcome back to Eastern!

I’ve lived on the East Coast for eight years now and I’m STILL on Central time internally!
Oh wait, that’s not really very encouraging, is it?
Ummm…
Don’t worry, sweetie, it’ll get better soon! 🙂

So, I am sensing that you are feeling a little bit out of sorts. Is that true? (Sorry, Counselor Hubby is rubbing off on me!) Hope you get caught up soon. Look at this way, being home means that you are closer to me. Yeah, I didn’t think you’d get too excited about that. 😉

Bless your heart! I can’t imagine traveling that far with the kids!! (Though, I can kind of feel your pain. Since moving in the my parents we’re on no schedule it kinda feels like we’re in another time zone… or on another planet!)

bluh… I’m walking around in a fog just thinking about it! recover soon!

Did you fly or drive? I’ve done both cross country. I don’t think either of them is better than the other… Hope you get back to your normal time schedule soon!
