I think that may be the only book in the series I haven’t read – and evidently, I’ve missed the best. I am going to have to re-read the series.

It seems the older I get the more I long for Heaven. For all the reasons you mentioned.

What a great post. Thank you. Sometimes when people talk about longing for heaven, I wonder what’s wrong with me for NOT feeling that way! I mean, of COURSE I look forward to seeing God face to face – how could I not?? But I’m not always able to imagine how else heaven will be awesome for us – and you described some great things.

Okay, I think this is all coming out wrong. I liked your post a lot, even if I can’t say why!!

I love the whole Narnia series and cry in every single book. But The Last Battle is and always has been my favorite. When I was little I never could quite figure out Heaven, and I never really wanted to go because it just didn’t seem like that much fun…until I read The Last Battle. It made me long for heaven for all the reasons you just listed.
