Neither of mine are sleeping through the night right now. Bug is a million times better than Wog since she sleeps through the night about 60% of the time. I should add I am sure this is of our own making in that we are a breeding ground for bad sleep habits. (So don't delete me!)

It really depends on the kid. Most of mine did not sleep through the night, but by that I mean that they would wake up and come into my bed and sleep. I wasn't up with them.
But my last one........ I thought we were finally there, but the nightmare has started all over again. He's 2 1/2.

Wyatt started officially sleeping through the night at 9 months. It was the very first night we spent in our new house and he was in his crib, in his own room. I don't know what made the difference (maybe he was just really tired after 9 months of waking me up all night?) but it was magical.

He'll get there soon, hang in there!

My 14 week old started sleeping 10 hours a night at 10-11 weeks. I'm nursing him...but he is a scheduled eater....6 times during the day..if he wakes up in the middle of the night we pop the pacifier. My feeling is that if the baby can go back to sleep for 4 more hours....he obviously wasn't hungry! I'm just hoping he doesn't have growth spurt and decide to start night eating.

I have three kids and I would say 9 months is pretty much when it kicked in for all of them. I was a big believer in the book, "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child". The author talks about how sleep creates more good sleep. I always made sure they got their naps and put the kids to bed at 6:30 p.m.! Yes, crazy, I know... But he says if your kids aren't sleeping, they need to go to bed earlier, rather than later. It worked for me!
