I painted my nursery silver sage and love it. I actually just took a sample to home depot and had them color match. Black furniture looks really classy against the gray tone and the great thing about black is that any accent you find at a thrift store easy matches after a coat of black spray paint.

[...] The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry and the Big Hungry Bear (Child’s Play Library) (an adorable board book.) Betsy and Mr. Kilpatrickby Carolyn Haywood (one of my faves when I was a kid—plus it’s a yummy old hardback!) Taffy and Melissa Molasses by Carolyn Haywood (another old hardback!) Bears on Wheels by Stan and Jan Berenstain (I love a good Berenstain Bear book.) Father Bear Comes Home by Else Hlmelund Minarik (I am a new Little Bear fan.) Meet Kit(yes, as in the American Girl, Lydia’s new obsession.) Eight Winnie-the-Pooh Books (Have you actually read the original Winnie the Pooh books by AA Milne? De-lightful.) AND a random book I let Lydia pick out. Plus, The Jungle Book record for Asa’s rock-n-roll room. [...]
