I Wanted To…

I wanted to write a post on Wednesday to link to the Joyful Impressions carnival at Impress Your Kids. I wanted to show you how Lydia and I made giant crayons for all her friends. I wanted to make them in ABC molds so each child would have personalized crayons. I wanted to talk to Lydia about giving and friendship at Christmas. I wanted to wrap them up with labels I made from digital scrapbooking. I wanted to give them to my messageboard mamas and their kiddos at a puppet show on Friday.

I wanted to. But…

I never wrote the post. I ended up making the crayons by myself because it took about 3 years to peel them. I had to put them in round muffin tins so they ended up looking like giant peanut butter cups. I grabbed a piece of red paper to wrap them and wrote on it with a Sharpie. I got to the puppet show late and they wouldn’t let me in because there were no more tickets.
