I’ve got a pirate update and a couple of bloggy questions for you…
Three weeks have come and gone since the pirate has officially become a land blubber. (Do you ever wonder how long I’ll take these pirate puns? Me, too.) And just as I hoped I’m feeling more normal.
We’ve had decent feedings, good naps and even some fun wake-times. I’m ready for his one month appointment when they tell me how much of a chunk he is and that I’m doing a sensational job breastfeeding him.
And I even took a shower today. Not because we’re having company or going somewhere. Just so I’d be clean. Now, how’s that for three weeks post-partum?
And now for the questions…
1. Remember my VLOG? Yeah, the one where you get to w-a-t-c-h me talk about random randomness? Well, I’m stuck. Newbaby.com has asked me to post (vlost?) about things moms would be interested in. But I can’t think of anything. I certainly can’t show off my breastfeeding skills. I’m just not a mom-expert. What kind of things could I vlog about? Any questions? Anything I do that you’d like to know more about? (*snicker*) Any products you’d like me to try out for you? Seriously, any and every suggestion is welcome.
2. Remember Oh Ho Ho? Well, are you up for it again? I don’t think I could handle seven weeks of it. But maybe a month? What do you think? I’m waffling and need some input. (Since Halloween is a mere half a month away, I really need to get my Christmas plans nailed down. You understand, of course.)
OK, that’s all I’ve got right now. I’m working on a post for later today, though. And you’re gonna like it. It’s etsy-ish. My fave.
Happy Monday!

Maybe you could vlog about bath time fun, diaper rash, your favorite products like diapers, wipes, baby wash, lotion, etc., ummm (thinking as I write)…driving around with 2 kids in the car and vlogging
; OK, I think I’m done, but I might come up with some more and write back later.
I bet blog mamas would love to watch a how-to about puppets, Amanda! Seriously, I think it would be really neat. What moms don’t want to learn new ways to entertain their kids? I bet lots work in nurserys or sunday school classes at church, too, and would love more ways to make lessons hands-on or make new crafts and things.
All kinds of mamas want to do crafty activities with their kids, but not all of ‘em are as naturally crafty. You could show us things that you can do with Lydia (lots of holidays coming up that you can incorporate crafts into). Mostly, I bet mamas watch for fun ideas, and because we all like knowing how other mamas’ minds work and how they live and what they do.
glad to hear that things are getting better!

I’ve been winging it week by week at Newbaby, but have decided that I will definitely be doing a “month” post each time she turns a month older. Is there a lullaby you sing to your babies? A special family story passed down? Things like that are always fun to see. What about the baby items you can’t live without? Product reviews are great, too. Maybe just recording the milestones as they go along (I know right now it’s not that much fun recording a newborn because they don’t DO anything yet LOL!) I do think answering Mom/baby-related reader questions is great, too.

what isn’t there to know about being a mom? What about coping with the fact that all of a sudden you have 2 kids you are responsible for, that some day very soon they will be big kids, then teenagers, and then in college – but you still feel like you’re a kid yourself?!? wait – is that only me that freaks out about that?
I’m all up for oh ho ho – I’d like to do more Christmas-y things, too, so if you want an extra hand with anything, let me know!!!
