It’s 8:13am.

Posted by oh amanda on September 20th, 2008 . Filed under: baby, me .

I’ve been up since 2:30. Lydia’s been awake since 4:30.

Why?

I have an enormous bruise on my ribs and an enormous child in my stomach.

Lydia on the other hand had a guest. Her cousin, Nora (4) spent the night. In the other room. But Lydia couldn’t handle the excitement. And was up at 4 to play. *sigh*

In other news, I’ve had a few little contractions today. Nothing strong, but they’ve been going on since my 2:30 wake time. So, *something* is happening. I’d just like it to be a little preview of what’s going to happen in several days, not several hours…

Now that you know everything that’s happened to me in the last 6 hours, I’ll let you get about your Saturday. Happy weekend!

Hey! I was up at 4:30, too. But I fed a little girl and went promptly back to bed at 5:00. Sorry you’re in pain. :-(

That’s exciting about your contractions! But I hope your ribs feel better soon, so you can deal with labor a lot easier!

I hope this is not the real thing, but the cynical/realist side of me says, “Even the best laid plans…”

Prayers and blessings for whatever the day holds!

Ooh, exciting! Hope you heal quickly so you can handle labor – and I hope the little pirate stays put until your dad gets back. :-)
