My little brother and me at my Grandmama’s house.
I totally remember that little chair and table set. And is that a robe behind me? I just love how we’re drinking out of goblets. That is so Grandmama. And look at my Strawberry Shortcake nightgown! And Jason’s little hands–they’re still baby hands. How sweet.
I’m getting more and more excited for my little girl to meet her new baby brother. I can’t wait for her to have a little playmate and a best friend! I know, I know, it will be months and months before he can actually play with her. But when I saw this picture of my brother and me today, it got me excited about the relationship that’s going to begin between my children. (Did I just say children?!)

Fascinating how old photos help us remember our childhood. Great story
What a pair of sweetie pies! Is the age difference between you and your brother similar to the difference between Lydia and pirate?
Too sweet!
adorable! Also, I got the book! Thanks so much!!!
I look forward to reading it (well, some of it – I have two other books to take with me) at the beach next week!
Also, what you said in your email about doing book reviews… that would be totally awesome if I didn’t have to go back to work in just a few weeks when school starts. boo! I have too much to do and unfortunately read maybe one book a month (if that) during the school year.
Thanks again!
That looks like an old faded photo. Have a wonderful WW!
So cute. I have a great relationship with my brother too. He’s six years older than me though.
I know exactly what you mean, although with different details of course!
So exciting…

A better trade, I’m sure! Have fun!!
My boys have started playing together recently and it’s so fun to watch (until they decide they want the same toy of course! HA!).
What a darling photo!
Isn’t that the best? I love those memories, and I hope for those wonderful times for my boys too!
And I know what you mean about it being weird to say your “children.” Kind of freaky, though it gets a lot easier!
what a great memory. Yes, you said children
how cool is that?!?!
The big day will be here before you know it! How exciting!
