I’m in a different mood for Wordless Wednesday today. I needed a little fun this morning. I was going to show you a picture of my great-great-uncle in a potato field.
A potato field. Even I’m not interested in that.
But, when I saw this, it made me feel happy!
Amanda 5, Jason 2 1/2. March 1983.
I don’t know what is up with my prairie dress or Jason’s collar. But can I just say one thing?
WE ARE SO CUTE!
I totally remember this because Jason left when we thought the pictures were done and I got surprised with that solo picture at the bottom!
So.
I was thinking. We’ve all got these photo booth pictures stuck somewhere. For some reason it’s ridiculously fun to sit in a booth and get a bad picture of yourself taken! So, why don’t you share yours? Go digging around in your High School stuff, look under your bed and scan your PHOTO BOOTH picture! Then post it on your blog. Tell us a little about the picture if you want. Then, sign the Mr. Linky below with a link to that post. (If you don’t follow the rules, I may have to delete you! Mwaa-haaa-haaa!)
I’ll leave it up for a couple of days and then I’ll pick a winner! Yes, a winner! To win like an actual prize!! (What’s the prize you ask? Well, I’ll get back to you. I told you I needed fun today. I just made this up, so let me think a little and I’ll get back to you. I promise it will be significantly better than a loaf of bread but not quite as nice as a Wii.) OK, Tamara from Pondered in My Heart just left me the idea for the prize! A handmade Photo Booth Picture Album from Freckled Nest’s etsy shop! How adorable is that?! And at the rate you guys are commenting with “I’ve never been in a photo booth before”, it looks like I’ll be the winner! COOL!
Start your memories…

Love the pics! Wish I had a scanner so I could share some! *pouting*
Take a picture of it!!
SO funny! You guys both look the same! Love it!
Would you believe that I have NEVER had a picture taken in one of those booths?!
I KNOW! But it’s the truth.
Thanks for sharing those with us!
Then rush right out and find one!!
So cute! I don’t have any photo booth strips easy to get to. But you’ve got to see Freckled Nest’s photobooth albums…perfect for these…she doesn’t have any listed now, but I know she does custom orders. Here’s a link to one: http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=7689495
I am another one who has NEVER, EVER done the photo booth thing. I sure missed out, huh? I don’t have anything to share.
How cute!! I’ve never done the photo booth thing either
But now, when I pass one in the mall, I’ll drag both kids in with me and we’ll be sure and make goofy faces for the future blog entries
Can you believe that I have never had my pix taken in a photo both? Your pictures are very neat. When I saw the dress I immediately thought of Little House too. Too funny. Happy WW.

You guys are so much cuter than a potato field. And that says a lot, coming from a girl who like nothing more than a big, fat potato!
I’m totally bummed ’cause I don’t think I’ve ever had my picture made in a photo booth.
Maybe I’ll stop in the next one I see and throw a peace sign or two for ya.
I don’t have a scanner, so even if I could find some I wouldn’t be able to get them up. But some of my favorite pictures of my sister and me are from the photo booth in the mall. I was probably 16 and she was 13 or 14, and we were making crazy dinosaur hands and making fun of her gym teacher. The pictures are so us. They make me happy.
i love this… Adorable… I swear I had that same dress. I even recall telling my mother that she dressed me like laura ingalls. hmmmm.
i’ll do it! Right now…
Cute – I found some old pictures while I was at my parents’ house last week but none were from photo booths. I did have the ruffly/prairies dresses though. Can’t believe what an IN thing they were.
Oh I may have to go photo digging. Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
All of my stuff is still in a storage place in FL right now or I’d be al up in this! Cute pictures!
I would be photo digging for DAYS!
Great idea, by the way. Thank you for stopping by my blog.
We are the same age! I was also 5 in 1983.
Are you sure that’s you?
Sadly, I have no photo booth pix.

I have very little of my high school stuff anymore. My hubby went on a purge of unnecessary items when we moved the first time.
But I remember one such occassion – my BFF in high school and I got in a photo booth at the mall. Total dorks. But it was fun!
I have one from when I was little with an aunt somewhere. Probably at mom’s in her photo album… I’ll call and put her on the job. If it is found I’ll post it! Fun!
ps you are so cute!

Oh look, it’s Nora and Lydia!! I think I’ve got one of me, Josh, & Peter! Yikes! I’ll have to go digging
How cute! I don’t have one, but I love yours!
Um, can you say Lydia?! Wow. Unfortunately, I have no crazy photo booth pictures. I must be deprived.
I have to agree with the “WE ARE SO CUTE!” line!! These are just too sweet! Now I gotta get my boys in a photo booth.
I do have one with me and my high school boyfriend. Now, whether I am brave enough to post it or not – that’s another story…
wow they existed that back then, great pictures you all were so cute
OK – I’m going digging!
The way around the scanner is this: Take a digital picture of your printed picture. Then crop in.
Works like a charm!
Too Cute!!
I have a few but they are up at my mom’s. To get them and scan them and post them would be a few days
This was fun, brought back some good memories
Oh gosh, I have this one that would be really funny. The hair alone is just ridiculous. I’ve got to go hunting. Actually, I’m going to the beach in a few weekends with the same friend and she wants to get new pics done in the booth so we have something a little more updated.
Ok, that is the cutest thing ever! Look at how cute! I would have to do some major searching to find mine. Maybe this weekend!

Great contest, I just wish my picture was better. I think it’s about time a sisterchick wins one of your contests!!
Great idea! Thanks for extending it out. I’ll get mine up right away..like once I get the scanner hooked up..this is so better than cleaning bathrooms.
misty convinced me to share…
Wow, everyone told me I had to look at this post. Jason is totally Nora and you are totally Lydia! So funny;)
