Daddy Day

Look what Lydia and I made my husband for Father’s Day!

Are you impressed? I mean, I don’t know what we’re going to do with it, but it’s cute, right? I found the idea on one of my new favorite blogs, Pink Paper Peppermints. She is the craftiest thing. You need to check her out. (Hers was a lot cuter, but she didn’t have a 2 year old trying out scissors for the first time either.)

(oh, and did you notice my little cut out belly? It’s got one of those pop dots underneath it so it sticks out!)

And church today. Oh. It was so good–a really good practical but not trite sermon about fatherhood. And they ended with this song. *whew* I was sobbing–SOBBING– at the end of it. Get a kleenex out before you click! Happy Father’s Day!!

Maybe I should wait a few months to click on the song. :-)

That is the most precious thing I’ve *ever* seen! We printed off a Father’s Day story Pippa “wrote” for him on Playhouse Disney. She only colored one page. With black marker. It wasn’t our finest crafting endeavor. Happy Father’s Day to Les!

    That is so cute!

I have been basically using the word cute a lot on comments to your blog… can’t help it, the cuteness factor is just here.

Thanks for the compliments, you just made me smile. :)

Ok, I have to make this short because I am on vacation and the boys are putting luggage in the car and I don’t want them to come back up to the room and catch me blog commenting! heh-heh
