The Weekly Oh! Round Up

I don’t mean weekly as in, I do this weekly. I just mean, this is My Week Round Up. Get it?

Whatever.

These past 2 weeks have been Spring Break around here. AND it’s been you know, SPRING. So, everyone’s wanting to go outside and play! Lydia’s had a play date almost everyday We’ve been to the park, had a picnic, we’ve played bubbles and yesterday, we flew kites!

I also had a doctor’s appointment this week. I’ll give you a rundown, ok?

3:10 arrive
3:15 urine sample (sorry), weight (up 4 pounds), blood pressure (good), temperature (97.6)
3:18 wait in room for doctor
3:23 wait in room for doctor
3:28 wait in room for doctor
3:33 doctor arrives
3:34 listens to heartbeat (declares it “strong”)
3:35 orders a 20 week ultrasound
3:36 says good-bye

the end

Are you kidding me? Good grief. I could have just emailed them the stats they needed. But the good news is my 20 week ultrasound (aka The Big Pink or Blue Ultrasound) is scheduled on my birthday! What a fun present! So, what do you think? Pink or Blue?

Let’s see…I thought I had some more stuff to tell you. Guess not. Not too much going on in the oh-family!

Happy Weekend!

I think you made good time. It usually takes me over an hour and a half for a visit… and that’s when there’s no ultrasound or blood work!

Next time I get the sugar test! She told me to bring a book!

Oh yeah, and I think girl right now. But if you ask me again next week, it might be different.

So exciting! Oh I remember those appointments times four! I can’t wait to hear if it’s a pink or blue! How many weeks are you now?

It’s the year of the wiener for people I know so I’m going to go with boy on this one.

And I HATE the visits are so quick! Esp. since each appt cost me almost $300! (great monthly insurance but the deductible for maternity is OUT. OF. CONTROL!)

I had a doctor’s appointment too, and mine was similar only A LOT more waiting. All for the doctor to say “okay everything looks fine!” haha. I posted about my appointment today too.

you should have a voting poll for the ‘pink’ or ‘blue’! Oh, and maybe some info on your pregnancy too….like how things are similar or different from when you were prego with Lydia. Just a suggestion (and I’d totally vote!).

I’m so glad the weather is good for play dates at the park!

I love this time of year, but hate as it gets hotter, lol.

I think you’re on the pink team again!

    It’s totally a girl. See, boy babies? I think they’re a myth, personally 😉

Are you guys talking names yet? Inquiring minds want to know!

That will be a cool present! I am gonna say “pink.”

For some reason I have a very hard time imagining you having a boy…(I think it is because you don’t have one!)

    Can’t wait to find out!

Ah. The one thing I would dread about expecting again would be all those doctor appointments. And the waiting. One time I waited a whole hour in the exam room.

It makes you wonder why healthcare professionals are so bent on prenatal care when the doctor hardly spends any time with you….

Sounds like all of my appointments this last pregnancy. And since I was considered a “geriatric patient” (pregnancy-wise), I had to go through this every stinkin’ week for the last couple of months.

Loved (HAHAHAHAHAHA) racing racing racing with all the kids only for it to be over faster than it took me to pee in the cup!

Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
