Have you ever just had a good day? It’s 12:59 and I can already classify my day as GREAT! Now, don’t get too excited, I didn’t win the lotto or have the house cleaning fairies visit in the night, but I’ve just got stuff accomplished!
I was going to recap the morning, but honestly, it’s not that interesting…had breakfast, watched Signing Time, learned the letter “E” with Lydia, played puzzles, vacuumed, got a new prescription from the doctor, folded clothes, watch Lydia have a tea party, ate leftover Easter food and laid Lydia down for a nap without a whimper! See, it doesn’t take much to make me happy!
While Lydia’s napping, I’ve got some blogspiration (not necessarily for this post) but I’m going to update Lydia’s blog, (hopefully) our vacation blog and add some plug-ins to this blog. I’ve had lots of stupid spam comments on some of my old posts. I found a plug-in that closes my comments after a certain amount of days. I’ll see how it works. Anybody else use one?
Well, this wasn’t the most exciting post, but it’s better than my usual Monday fare. So, I’ll leave you with the other thing that’s been making me happy this Monday—my igoogle header. I’ve told you about my igoogle gadget before but my little header is JUST THE CUTEST. It’s a little fox. He lives at a tea house on a pond and depending on the time of day, he does all different fun things. Sometimes he has little lanterns in the water, sometimes he’s picking oranges, other times he’s watching the sun come up. Right now he’s eating sushi under an orange tree.
Isn’t he the cutest?! (Like I said, it doesn’t take much…)
I used the same one, but just changed it to the beach one! By the way…were going to DISNEY!! I need to see more of your vacation to keep me excited!
Can you believe I am still checking out sites from the Blog party. It is like an addiction, but I limit myself to five a day. I’m glad you are having such an awesome day. I just love all the Google tags. I use to have these little raccoons in the fall.

I’m glad you’ve been having a good day. Sometimes good days don’t have to have anything spectacular happen, they just need to be without bad incidents. I understand. Today was almost one of the non-incident days…until I pulled Aidan’s pull-up off and a big lump of poo dropped onto the floor…ew, ew, ew! So we’ve dropped from great day to better than average day : )
