I have been trying to get online for 24 hours. I have restarted my modem, I have cursed, I have prayed. My wireless connection has one bar. A very finicky, mean-spirited, uncooperative bar.
My (anti-climactic) blog-day party is coming posthaste.

That is so not what I expected the post to be about. I was anticipating having a happy Blogday at “one bar”.
Oh well. I guess in our condition that should wait until next year.
