I watched It’s A Wonderful Life last night. *sigh* I love that movie. It makes me cry about five different times. Mary & George’s first kiss is just breathtaking. I cry just thinking about when Mary runs into the Building & Loan with their honeymoon money and says, “How much do you need?” I love when George sees Harry’s gravestone and yells, “Harry Bailey went to war!” And when Uncle Billy says, “Mary did it, George. Mary did it! She told some people you were in trouble…they didn’t ask! They just did it!”, oh! I’m tearing up now!
But my two very favorite lines make me laugh. The first is Annie when she’s bringing her money to George…
“I was savin’ this money for a dee-vorce, iffen I ever got me a hu’band!”
*snicker* Oh, I love that.
And this one. Oh, I hope I get to use this one some day. But I’ll never be able to deliver it as good as Gloria Grahme who plays Violet. She says it in response to George commenting on her dress…
“Why this old thing? I only wear it when I don’t care how I look!”

Was the movie on network tv and I missed it -or- do you own it? I wouldn’t be surprised if I missed it on tv, I usually watch HGTV or shows I’ve recorded. Anyway, I love It’s A Wonderful Life! Bestest Christmas movie ever!
