Is it really the last day of the year?! I know it’s the most overused statement but it is also the most true one ever—TIME FLIES! I think as you get older it gets exponentially faster. And since Lydia was born I feel like we’re in warp speed!
So, even though my little blog is only 11 months old, I’m going to play along with There is No Place Like Home‘s 2007 Year-in-Review-Recap-Blah-Blah. (That’s my title, not hers.) Just post the first sentence of your first blog post of each month. You can also add a favorite picture from each month. (which I’m not going to do…sorry.)
January: (didn’t have a blog, remember? what did yall do without me? I mean, what did I do without you?!)
February: I’ve been dying to be a blogger for a while now.
March: I *heart* the library.
April: My husband just bought me this CD.
May: I’ve been wanting to enter this contest for a few days and just haven’t had a chance.
June:

July: …read a book
August: This is my grandmother when she was 11 months old.
September: I’m all purple and beautiful!
October: I feel like I haven’t been home for 4 days!
November: You know the drill…my recap is up.
December: Week Five? Yikes!
And what have we learned from this recap?
1. I apparently do not like long sentences.
2. It is a miracle any of you have stuck around with first sentences like these! WOW. I’m going to have to work on those. (I was going to link to all those posts in case you might want to go back and read them but I think I’ll just let them be…)
Happy New Year anyway!

Back in the day Christian Tshirts were in. You know, “IN”. And I had them all! Let’s see, a few of my faves…
“Heaven? Yes. Hell? No.” (I even wore that one to school!)
“Forget the Whales! Save the People!”
“All Good People Go To Heaven. NOT!” (How cool was I?)
Well, thanks to some great companies, Christian clothing has gotten TONS cooler! When we were in California, my cousin was a manger (or something) for a cool, very cool store in the mall called C28. It’s basically a PacSun for God-lovers.
Every time we go to California we stock up on clothes, hats, belts and stickers from C28. Well, my brother and my sil have decided they aren’t waiting till we go to California and they’ve started ordering online! And guess what their themed gift was this year? A C28 Christmas! Oh, yeah!
I got THE best purse ever.

Do you love it? It’s purple! See the chandeliers? And the words? It’s Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others…” The tag said something like, “Just like a chandelier carries light, remember when you carry this purse to carry your light for others to see!” Isn’t that cool?! Plus, it’s made from a hoodie so it’s soft and squishy! I love it.
Everyone got something cool from C28…I think they did the best for Daddy. What do you think? And now that I’ve gotten bitten by the C28 bug, I’m thinking about getting these and this. And that’s just in the clearance section!
If you need to spend some of your Christmas money, need some cool added to your wardrobe or your kid’s wardrobe, give these guys your money!
(I swear they aren’t giving me any money or gifts, I just had to share how much I love this company!)

Remember the Christmas Tree Lighting Party/Secret Mission Lydia went on?
Well, we finally found out the whole story…

Is that the cutest thing?!
Mama and Daddy bought the girls dresses, tight and shoes. They “kidnapped” them from us, took them out to eat and then to get their pictures taken. We got a beautiful 8×10 and lots of extras for Christmas. How sweet is that?
You can see all the pictures here.

I don’t even know what that title means. I was just trying to get “blog” in there. Maybe I should have done, “Tales from the Blog” or “The Creature from the Blog Lagoon”.
Apparently, my bloggy creativity is waning. I can tell I’ll be lightly posting the next few days and in light of the 5billion posts in my bloglines, I *gulp* marked every blog I read as “read”. So, I apologize to my bloggy friends. If I haven’t commented on a post already, I probably won’t! But I promise, I’m going to be caught up after that!
Did Christmas tire you guys out? I don’t know why I’m so exhausted. I guess knowing we have fam coming in for New Year’s and then Lydia’s birthday snuck up on me–it’s in less than 2 weeks! I have A LOT to do…because Lydia’s party is going to be so fun. I’ve been kinda planning it for months.
In Christmas gift news, I’ve been playing with my Photoshop Elements. It is so incredibly fun–I’m about to be a real digital scrapbooker! That’s the kinda craft I can get into–digital!
OK, that’s enough of this completely boring post. I’ll be back when I have something interesting to say!
(ps–sorry, I had to delete the previous post about my imeem.com playlist. For some reason it posted twice and went crazy!)

I’m hijacking Mama’s blog to wish her a Happy Birthday.
If you have a minute in the midst of your Christmas Eve, will you hop over and wish her a Happy Birthday?
