3. Your Driver’s License Test Day
2. Your Wedding Day
1. Going to a Photo Studio So You Can Get Cute Pictures of Your Kid Taken And Instead She Cries and Screams And Won’t Get Out Of Your Arms So You Waste The Entire Morning And Leave Without Even One Picture To Take Home

Poor you. You have now passed test 254 of motherhood. It only gets more fun! Just wait til test 2343! That’s a doozy!
I agree!
Bless your heart! My day is coming!
🙁 So sorry to hear about that. I am finding that the older Landon gets the harder to get a good picture. He has better things to do than look at the camera and do that thing, what is it?….oh yeah, SMILE!
Toddlers!!
Oh! Poor thing! That stinks!
Was it a man photographer?!
Oh yes, I’ve been there. That’s why we haven’t had professional pictures taken in about a year!!
I hate that our little girl was soooo sad. 🙁
that happened to me when my oldest was a toddler. we came home took our own, and didn’t go back for 8 years. Now that they’re older, I just take my own.
Maybe not as professional but definitely more personality than bad attitudes at the portrait studio for a pretty penny.
One of my mother’s favorite stories to tell (’cause I think she likes getting mad all over again) is about the time she took a 2 or 3 year old me to a store to get my picture made and I pitched such a fit, the photographer had to ask her to leave because I was upsetting the other children. She said she was so mad she could have pinched my little head off, and it didn’t help matters that my grandparents took me to a photography studio shortly after that and I was just the best little angel for them. 😉
Oh girl, I feel your pain. ARGH.
Ha! Been there done that, and I lived to tell the tale (and even have another kid). My “1st photo” day also included a joyful session of breastfeeding on the toilet in the Sears restroom (because there was no chair and no where else to go).
I’m so sorry you had to go thru this, but I promise you things will get better. Okay, well at least picture-taking will get better. 😉
