I got my Shades of Red Swap today! I had forgotten all about it. Then this afternoon, right before Lydia’s nap, it started raining. Lydia loves rain so we went outside for a few minutes and there it was a beautiful box on my front porch!!
And look what was inside. Can you believe this yummy goodness?! A notepad, chapstick, a magazine, magnets, a Christmas ornament and CHOCOLATE! I hope my partner likes mine as much as I like hers. She’s got a great cooking blog. And she’s a slammin’ photographer, too. (Did I just say “slammin'”?) I felt a little nervous sending her my gift because she seems so artsy! I wanna tell you what I got her, but I’ll wait till she posts pics on flickr.

Anyway, the next swap is coming up soon. So, if you want to get some fun stuff in the mail, sign up! (Debra & Deanne, did you get your swap yet?!)
In other news…can someone fill me in on the online picture stealing? I’m reading about it everywhere–people turning their pics private, etc. But what exactly is causing everyone to do this so suddenly?
And in case you need another online presence…head over to NaBloPoMo (no, it’s not a cuss word). It’s November Blog Posting Month. You start a blog and post everyday in November. I do that anyway, so it shouldn’t be too hard. But it gives you a chance to showcase your site, find some new bloggies to read and I think there are going to be prizes. And there is. The real reason I joined. Greed.
I think that’s it…oh! I wrote my Pushing Daisies review for The Disney Blog, but it hasn’t been posted yet. The editor either has a real life, or he hates my post. *nervous sigh* I’ll post a link as soon as it’s up! (Just a preview: I liked it!)
I’m off to clean the house peruse my bloglines!

Do I spy some cough drops in your package-o-red??
No, I haven’t gotten mine yet. I’m told it was mailed on Monday, so hopefully tomorrow if not then by next Monday for sure! I can’t wait! My swap buddy got hers yesterday and loved it (I was so glad, I was half afraid she wouldn’t!).
Yes, I got my swap. I loved every bit of it. I need to tell you the truth. I am a complete idiot…I guess. I got an e-mail that talked about being in the orange/yellow swap and sent orange and yellow stuff. I received all red CUTE stuff. My swap partner said no worries but I still feel bad.
Aw, what a fun swap. I did the pink & green and it was so much fun too.
p.s. would you email me your address so I can send you a postcard. I had it at home but didn’t get here with it.
What a great swap. I love swaps. I think I’m going to have to join the NaBloPoMo. Thanks for the heads up.
