Uhm…well, you see, Lydia spent the night with her grandparents. And well, I haven’t slept later than 8am for at least 6 months, so…I skipped church today.
So.
I woke up at 10:45am. I’m going to repeat that. I WOKE UP AT 10:45 THIS MORNING!
And I only slightly feel bad about that even after reading this. But I promise, I’m going to listen to the podcast first thing in the morning this week and bring you completely up to date!

Love the verse! But who’s to say that sleeping in isn’t a holy and sacred thing? I know I worship and praise the Lord when it occurs in my house!

Well all this envy I’m experiencing at your getting to sleep late should make you feel a little better about ditchin’ church!
OH, I’m SO jealous!!! It’s ok to skip church once in a while. Sometimes sleeping in and taking care of yourself can be a HUGE ministry in itself!
That feels good I know!
I’m having a lot of jealousy in my heart that you got to sleep so late! Sometimes it’s okay to skip church, especially if it means you get to sleep in for the first time since your baby was born. I guess I should send Helen to grandma’s house for a night.
Go you! 10:45 is unheard of in our home. We’ve recently found 7 am again! Ahh…
Blessings.
Am I going to have to sing, “The Perfect 10″ to you????
You did miss a great sermon! Thank the Lord for podcasts!
I, too, am jealous. However, Hubby and I are sending the kids to grandma’s this Saturday night to celebrate eight blissful years of marriage. Guess how? A 5:30 p.m. dinner invitation so we can get home and to sleep early!! Who eats at 5:30? People with kids…
You haven’t always been able to pull that one off, have you? Believe me! You deserve it! Don’t you feel guilty for one little minute
(Now just help me figure out how I can pull it off at least once!)
