Then would you please pray for Trish & Dave’s daughter, Ashley? She’s an almost 2 year old going through chemo. They’re having a rough time right now and could use some encouragement. But what Ashley really needs is a miracle.

There’s a great story in Matthew 8 about a Roman centurion who comes to Jesus on behalf of his servant. The centurion tells Jesus that his servant is sick and dying.

Jesus says, “I will go and heal him.”

Just like that. I love it.

But the centurion says, “No. I don’t deserve to have you under my roof. Plus, I understand how you and God work. I’m a man under authority. I tell soldiers to go and they go. Just say the word and my servant will be healed.” (my paraphrase)

Jesus was amazed at this man’s faith. He said, “Your servant is well.” And he was.

Let’s ask Jesus to heal Ashley the same way He healed the servant. All He has to do is say the word.

Stop by Ash’s Journal and let them know you’re praying, ok?

How sad for them. Life is just unfair at times. Keeping them in my thoughts.
