“Wordless” Wednesday

dewey.jpg

My great uncle and his wife shortly after he was discharged from the army in 1945 after World War II.

Both he and his wife died in the same year.

Don’t they just look like a love story waiting to be written?

Lovely sentiment to a lovely photo. My WW pic for today has the same kind of feel, except with less–shall we say–sense of history. Blessings on your Wednesday!

I adore old photos. Didn’t the women just look so elegant and the men so dapper?

How sweet! I really enjoy your pictures, Amanda, because they are from the same time as mine, and it’s almost like a big old movie that we’re watching, and who knows, they could have lived right next door to one another, but most likely states away, but they each carry the same stories . . . What a winding sentence . . . but I guess that’s because I just really enjoy your pictures, A 🙂 xo!

Reminds me of a picture we have of my dh’s parents, but his father is in uniform. That was a popular hairstyle back then.

Happy WW and thanks for sharing the nostalgia!

Off Topic Question – I’ve decided to use http://verifiedfile.com SEO Services. Can SEO methods cause problems to my website? I mean VerifiedFile seems to appear legit – but I thought I’d ask…
