Did you ever see that Veggie Tales’ silly song about the Dancing Cucumber? It’s really funny. Larry sings about how suave he can dance and how Bob, the “pobre tomato” can’t dance. Well, that’s me. I can’t dance. I can’t sing. I’m just not very…suave. Every time I go to Disney World and watch the shows (which I love!), I tell my mom, “I am so mad at you for not putting me in dance and voice classes!”
I guess when Lydia gets older, we’ll try out ballet and tap classes to see if she’s a suave cucumber or a pobre tomato. Regardless of her skill, I can guarantee she’ll love to dress up. I love costumes and can’t wait for Lydia to don tutus and fairy princess gowns.
Over at my bloggy group, 5minutes4mom they are having a contest for a free sparkly, shimmery, swirly, twirly dance skirt from Katchy Kids Dancewear. You could win a little skirt yourself or just look around and imagine little Lydia in one of those pretty skirts dancing her little heart out! (And me living vicariously through her!)

I am a fellow pobre tomato. Can’t dance, can’t sing. And I can’t wait to see pics of Lydia when she’s older in her cute little costumes.
my local dress maker makes the best dancewear in town. i love the colors and style.”;:
